Georges Faget-Bénard born in Paris, France in 1944.  He attended the school of print and was a typographist until 1964.  He then lived in London for several years and when finished with the school of art he then returned to Paris. He was an illustrator, working for various magazines such as "Historia", "Planète" with Pierre-Yves Tremois, Clayette, Didier Moreau and with Herber Pagani in 1968.    Georges then entered the universe of Theatre, as an actor at first during the years 1970 - 1980, then as a décorator, maquetist, scernograph, lighting and posters.  He's had numerous exhibitions since 1970 in France ( Galerie Lilian Francois, Mouvaces, in Paris) and outside (Palm Springs, California, Oklahoma, Chicago, Illinois with the the US, Prague). Also in Salons and collectives such as "Salon des Artistes Francais', with distinctions.  He won the Bronze medal in 2000.  He opened a school of art in 1995, teaching classical painting and currently runs this school in the Montmartre's heart of Paris.  Please visit "La Menuiserie"  at this website: http://www.atelierdartistes.fr  and/or http://www.oeillades.net.
